Time to sparkle !
For the Pre-Kindergarten children their first weeks at school are filled with many new experiences.
New teachers, new friends, new routines, new toys, new discoveries, new challenges and new achievements.
The 3 little friends in the Pre-Kindergarten class - Aiki, Kai and Veronica - have been starting to work together, giving each other a helping hand and they are learning how to share.
There is a lot of action in this class and a lot of laughter !
Showing that they have great fine motor as well as good gross motor skills, the children enjoyed chalk drawings outdoors, using different coloured chalk to express their thoughts (it’s a train, it’s a face, it’s a fish….) and walked confidently along our backyard bench aka balance beam.
In the classroom the children worked together making a train line with colourful connector pieces.
The Pre-Kindergarten children also continued exploring colours and shapes and were all able to name their favourites among many choices.
They had a lot of fun gluing their special shape in their special colour as a collage and when Veronica decided she needed more sparkles in her art, the boys happily followed suit.
What a great reflection of the sparkling and bright days in our classroom!
Yours,
